Rainbows and flowers were spread about today. brightening up the day with my vintage sweater was key in making today livable. i do hope Isabella and i can run to the thrift tomorrow after school because the first day of spring break is going to need some great outfits;)

i am now on task.

Back to the old grind. school was long and the outfit was great. i wore my dads Levi's shirt, three brown leather belts, stellar tights and thrift boots. it all went together well i though. what do you think? wish us luck, we entered the Waffles and Falaffles next top model contest....fingers crossed.

skinny fries.

Antiquing and hopping from one yard sale to the next was my Saturday. i spent the whole day in City Heights and downtown San Diego walking into the little shops that everyone passes by. i found an amazing watch from the 50s, as well as a new best friend...made of fiber glass.

What are these flowers doing. reproducing in my garden? i like them! these lovely ladies inspired me to wear something elegant with a hint of white. this black dress is one of my favorite pieces i own right now. the white stripes give it an 80's feel. i hope the flowers thought it was pretty:)

birds and boats

The past two days have been filled with adventure and fabulous outfits. From strawberries to converse our week has been filled with diversity and amazement. We also decided to not only take pictures in color, but it a more old fashion manor.....black in white. Even though this week has been amazing, Chewbacca screeches have been the highlight.

where are we going? to Narnia!!!!

The black and white photos were an experiment we conducted. i must say that they look good. the colors yesterday were very bright on me and on Isabella, very traditional. our outfits complimented each other by being the exact opposite. just like fashion.

i was inspired by the ripped tights fad and decided to make some. i paired them with a fab hounds tooth dress from Urban Outfitters and glorious ankle boots that i bought for $3 at a church thrift. not to mention those boots are probably around 20 years old. supa vintage. school was tolerable today because Isabella and i got to do what we love, dress to impress.

Today was so amazing i can't even describe it in words, just look at the pictures and you'll see.

We seized the day today with passion. i brought my photography devise to school and we went crazy! today we let our inner juvenile seep into our ensembles with Micky Mouse and Yo Gabba Gabba. the only things we needed were Crayolas and safety scissors. oh, and of course the plastic jewlery!

Note To Self: just breathe

Even though Mondays are known for being a drag, Bianca and I rocked out at school with our fashion sense. As you can see in the previous blog Bianca looked great in her vintage dress while she strolled downtown with her pup, but today i decided to go for more of a modern look. I wore a navy blue turtle neck tucked into my jean shorts, a brown belt, and pink ballerina flats. I found the shirt in my moms closet, which shows you can find the most amazing pieces of clothes where you least expect them to be.

Plastic Cameras

Today was quite interesting. I bought this lovely dress at a thrift store down

town a few weeks ago, and finally felt like it was an apropos time to wear it.

The dress is very feminine and some what colonial i think.

I do some times wish i lived in the French countryside.

up up and away

Since we were little Bianca and I have always dreamed about being surrounded by hundreds of balloons. Once I saw this picture it instantly reminded me about our dream, this girl looks amazing in her little blue dress, holding her balloons, looking out to the bay with an open mind.

Time.

This photo is absolutely beautiful. Isabella and I both thought that if Lykke Li ever made a video for Time Flies, this would be the feel of the video. A young girl, in a white dress, carelessly frolicking in a field full of delicate daisy's. The video would have a antique look with grainy footage just like this photograph.
