The first three days of Fashion Week New York have already taken my breathe away, and I can't believe it's not even half way done! I have found myself being glued to style.com and Nylon magazine's Tweets straight from the front row.

I collected some of my favorite looks from a few of the most stellar designers( well, my personal favorites!) at fashion week.

I am over-joyed to see bold colors, fur, quirky prints, and many uses of grayscale so far during these fall ready-to-wear shows. So much inspiration and I can't wait to see what comes next!!

CALM BEFORE THE STORM.

Fashonistas, Designers, Photographers, and Bloggers, Fashion Week New York is back again in 2011 and going to hit us like a cold, hard punch right to our Chanel makeup covered faces.

I have posted a few random photos before I start doing reviews on collections at Fashion Week. I can't wait (my heart is literally racing!) to go on style.com and browse through the crisp, vertical photos of the models on the runway. Designers like Christian Siriano (who I've met, as you can see in the picture on my side panel!) and Michael Kors will be at the top of my list to keep my eyes fixed on, as well as the other 250 plus designers showcasing their goods at Fashion Week!

I hope all you Crumpets readers will check in starting tomorrow all the way through the 18th for little snippets of my thoughts, rants, and opinions of the clothes fest taking place in the Lincoln Center.

I will leave you with one last note that has been haunting me for the past few days; imagine if you were in the same room, watching the same fashion show, as all the fashion gods; Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, Andre Leon Talley, just to name a few...

Have you ever felt like you are about to burst from pure joy due to something you just purchased that is probably one of the best items you have ever held in your hands...in your life!?!?

If not, please, let me explain why this feeling came upon me this afternoon.

Today, Feb. 4, I had a very important date that I couldn't miss, even if my academic career was at steak. It started with me dashing out of school just a bit earlier than the bell (please don't follow my example!), and racing over to the LF store in La Jolla. I had received an invitation via email for an exclusive sale of 60% off the entire store from 3pm to 6pm! I know, I know insanity, right?

Being the first anxious girl in line, my lovely mother and I strategically planned what we were going to run in and fight for first.

It turns out I left the store with a jacket, two tops, a skirt, a pair of loafers, a sweater,a feather clip, and a faux fur purse fit for a couture beast. WOW! best buys of my life, hands down.

Thank you LF employees for all of your great help and expert tips on what to buy! Also, my apologies for all of us wild-animal shoppers making the store a complete and utter mess!

The first month of the year has flown by and has been bursting with excitement, homework and thrifting. I am pleased to use this post as some what of a rebirth of my aspiring fashion blog.
